jvblascois there anything i should for using/configuring icons for usage in the gui?10:37
jvblascocause using the same code, there are icons that work, others that do not10:38
jvblascoi'm using icons from: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Tango_icons10:38
jvblascoand the code for definining an icon http://pastebin.com/mcvnBsSz10:39
jvblascolater on in that view definition or others i use the <field name="name"> tag to add the icon in the menu10:40
jvblascobut some icons work, others don't, and i get internal server errors in the server10:40

pokolijvblasco: do you have a icons folder in your module with the icon?11:02
jvblascopokoli: yeah11:03
jvblascopokoli: and all of them are svg and the definitions share the name of the file11:03
pokolijvblasco: so If you upgrade the module they should be available on the tryton-server11:03
jvblascowhat do u mean on the tryton-server11:04
jvblasco?11:04
jvblascoi'm using them like: icon="tryton-sysplan-network"11:04
jvblascofor example11:04
cedkjvblasco: did you re-login on the client?11:09

jvblascocedk: yeah11:16
jvblascocedk: i restarted the client, just in case, and some icons appeared, others didn't11:17
jvblascocedk. pokoli: at lunch time i'll review the installation, to check if icons are being copied11:17
jeancavallojvblasco: Naive question : did you update the module where the xml is defined ?11:19
-!- Streward(~quassel@85.183.31.24) has joined #tryton11:20
jvblascojeancavallo: u mean reinstall and reupdate db and upgrade in the tryton client?11:35
jeancavallojvblasco: I mean updating the module either through command line or through the Client (Admin => Modules => Mark for upgrade => Apply pending...)11:36

jvblascoi did11:57
jeancavallojvblasco: Ok. only Internal Server Errors ?12:06
jeancavallojvblasco: You can try : http://tryton-documentation.readthedocs.org/en/latest/developer_guide/debugging.html#debug-those-annoying-error-50012:07

jvblascoi have a problem saving a model to which i just added a list to a o2m attribute.  It seems the models for the o2m relation are ok, but when calling the save() method they don't get saved in the db.13:26
jvblascohere is the code: http://pastebin.com/M3z0heGM13:26
jvblascoand here is the content of the list servers: http://pastebin.com/pF957GQ213:27
jvblasconot sure if i'm doing something wrong, cause i did it the same way in other methods, and it works13:27
jvblascofor example http://pastebin.com/sL8UnN8H this one works13:28
jvblascoit only adds 1 model to the o2m relation though13:28
pokolijvblasco: which is the code for the get_server_instance function?14:04
jvblascoomw14:07
jvblascopokoli: http://pastebin.com/s7ffQEaE there u go14:09
pokolijvblasco: you're set active to false so the client is filtering inactive records14:13

jvblascopokoli: OMG14:37
jvblascopokoli: Thnx, this kind of stuff sometimes makes u feel...14:38
jvblascopokoli: there it goes 1 or 2 hours work trying stuff14:38
pokolijvblasco: you're welcome. I will recomend setting always a True value on active fields for testing :P14:40

jvblascopokoli: so, if client filters active fields, is there any way to create a view where inactive records are present?15:40

jvblascoguys, is there any documentation about creating registers from the xml files?16:53
cedkjvblasco: what do you name "registers"?17:14
-!- sharoonthomas(~sharoonth@122.177.145.81) has joined #tryton17:20
jvblascocedk: record, sry17:25
jvblascocedk: anyway, a file in the db17:25
jvblascocedk: i'm trying to figure out how do permissions work, but i cannot17:26
cedkjvblasco: I don't think but it is pretty simple: record and field tag that's all17:26
jvblascocedk: the behaviour is somehow weird17:26
jvblascojvblasco: i mean, if i don't tell tryton explicitly anything, it assigns full permissions to every model/menu in a module, isn't it?17:28
jvblascoups17:28
jvblascoi just told that myself lol17:28
cedkjvblasco: explicit is better than implicit17:33
jvblascocedk: but how do base modules work then, implicitly?17:37
jvblascocedk: when i create a user and don't assign any permissions to him, he can see almost everything if i don't create a group to explicitly negate that17:38
cedkjvblasco: you can see everything that doesn't have explicit access control17:38
cedkjvblasco: add a user to a group doesn't remove access17:39
jvblascocedk: then, if i negate explicitly the access to a menu, the user won't see it, so he wouldn't be able to create records in that menu models. But if he tries via webservices, will he be able to do it?17:40
jvblascocedk: what do u mean that adding a user to a group, doesn't remove access?17:41
cedkjvblasco: hiding menu has nothing to do with security17:42
cedkjvblasco: it is model access17:42
jvblascocedk: i c17:42
jvblascocedk: so i wonder, do base modules provide any security? or just menu hiding?17:43
jvblascocedk: cause i can't any model access restriction in any group17:44
cedkjvblasco: they are default model access on most of them except the obvious one like party17:45
jvblascocedk: and default model access is full access?17:46
cedkjvblasco: yes18:04
jvblascocedk: good to know, pieces start to stick together18:15
jvblascocedk: thnx so much for the help18:15
