hornis this a bug or a setting somewhere: field input  17.12.2014 00:00 - line.field returns 2014-12-16 23:00:0009:13
hornone hour offset09:13
Timitoshorn: does your server run on utc?09:14
-!- prksh(~prksh@103.245.118.154) has joined #tryton09:18
-!- prksh(~prksh@103.245.118.154) has joined #tryton09:31
cedkhorn: depend if you see that from the client, yes09:33
cedkhorn: but if you look at the input in the client and look at the value in the DB, it is probably correct09:33
cedkhorn: datetime are stored in UTC while displayed in user timezone09:34
hornTimitos, cedk: I'll check09:34
hornTimitos, cedk: db is 2014-12-16 23:00:00 - client is 17.12.2014 00:0009:37
Timitoshorn: so if your client runs on GMT+1 and your server runs on UTC everything seems to be fine09:38
cedkhorn: if you are annoyed but the day shift, probably you don't want datetime but date09:39
Timitoshorn: there has been an change in 3.2, that the server always uses UTC internally09:39
Timitoshorn: i donĀ“t know an which version you are09:39
hornTimitos, cedk: no problem - the issue comes from a search-wizard - so user puts in the client gmt+1 and I have to transfer it to utc09:40
hornTimitos, cedk: [status=resolved] :)09:41
cedkhorn: you don't have to transfer anything, the client does it normally09:42
horncedk: yes - but the data resulting from the wizard is in users timezone09:43
-!- prksh(~prksh@103.245.118.154) has joined #tryton09:43
cedkhorn: timezone doesn't care, it is always the same time09:44
cedkhorn: as far as you compare using the same timezone09:44
horncedk: ok - fixed - thanks a lot!09:51

prkshpokoli: from 3.2 all types of field can have domain. How do I put on selection?11:54
pokoliprksh: which domain do you want?11:54
pokoliprksh: domain=[('selection_name', '=', 'your_value')]11:55
pokoliprksh: but I imagine you want Eval11:55
pokoliprksh: but it's better to explain what do you want to achieve11:55
prkshpokoli: I have two selection fields and some combination of input is not acceptable. I wan to limit it throguh domain11:56
prkshpokoli: not sure this is the right approach11:57
pokoliprksh: it's doable11:57
prkshpokoli: through domain?11:58
pokoliprksh: yes, you need something similar to http://hg.tryton.org/modules/stock/rev/442e0c91de5912:00
pokoliprksh: so when you have you allowed combinations you need to build the domain based on the allowed combinations and assign to both fields12:01
prkshpokoli: you are always a saviour :)12:02
prkshthanks12:02
pokoliprksh: happy to help :)12:03

prkshpokoli: is it possible to order records based on some function field?12:40
prkshpokoli: or some custom logic12:40
pokoliprksh: yes you have to define a order_field method http://doc.tryton.org/3.4/trytond/doc/ref/models/fields.html#ordering12:42
pokoliprksh: some example on account module http://hg.tryton.org/modules/account/file/de3789903fee/move.py#l111112:44

kstengeris there no tag to download client 3.3 ? does someone know what revision it would correspond to?13:44
Timitoskstenger: for dev versions there is no download provided. why not using 3.4?13:45
kstengerbecause I still have some servers using 3.3 :)13:47
kstengernevermind, I think I know how to find it out, thanks13:47
kstengerso, it means odd numbers are development versions, right Timitos?13:48
pokolikstenger: yes, odd numbers are development versions13:48
Timitoskstenger: 3.3 is rather undefined. you need to figure out at what date you pulled the source for the server so that you can determin the correct changeset of the tryton client13:48
Timitoskstenger: yes13:48
kstengerok, thanks!13:49

pokolicedk: we have a One2Many size=1, without tree form and a unique_contraint on the target field18:41
pokoliwithout tree view sorry18:42
pokolicedk: do you think we can introduce this?18:42
-!- vcardon(~vcardon@bureau-sdsl.tranquil.it) has left #tryton18:54

pokolicedk: that's basically what i want to prevent, to not remove the entry ;)18:54
cedkpokoli: and you should also be able to add18:55
pokolicedk: registry it's added on default18:55
pokolicedk: depending on the context18:56
cedkpokoli: even default is not necessary enforced19:03
cedkpokoli: I think it is wrong to try to fool the user about the design19:04
