sisalphello, do you know if tryton client needs an additional package to manage ssl ? is openssl required ?09:56
pokolisisalp: it's using the python ssl module, which requrires OpenSSL10:04
pokolisisalp: https://docs.python.org/3/library/ssl.html?highlight=ssl#module-ssl10:04
-!- orphean(~Orphean@31.192.224.224) has joined #tryton10:06
sisalppokoli: thank you. Does it mean we should install python-openssl and openssl on the client machine  to connect to an ssl trytond server ?10:07
-!- thaneor(~ldlc6@179.26.22.179) has joined #tryton10:12
pokolisisalp: I think so10:12
pokolisisalp: did you have any issues?10:12
-!- JanGB(~jan@nat3.hmt-leipzig.de) has joined #tryton10:24
sisalppokoli: yes, a client gets "uncompatible version" when using ssl and is ok when bypassing ssl10:28
sisalppokoli: it is a 3.8 on Debian 810:29
zmijunkiedepending on your platform you might want to read https://cryptography.io/en/latest/installation/#10:30
zmijunkiehelped on even on my mac10:30
zmijunkiehelped me10:30
zmijunkiethis was when I was installing pyOpenSSL to use it with the python module 'requests' to fetch some json over ssl10:32
pokolisisalp: is same server than wednesday?10:34
pokolisisalp: if so, I can list the databases10:37
pokolisisalp: and I have openssl installed :)10:37
sisalppokoli: yes it is the same. I do get the connexion too, but the customer doesn't from the client. sao is OK and when he by-passes the ssl layer it gets all right. His problem is that the message doesn't indicate a ssl problem.10:47
pokolisisalp: which OS is using the customer?10:48
pokolisisalp: I'm not sure if the message have been improved on the latest versions, but for sure other people have found the same error10:49
pokolisisalp: BTW, have you tried running the client with verbose mode? It may produce some usefull output on the logs10:50

sisalppokoli: Desktop is Debian 8. The user has openssl installed and tells me it worked up to monday.11:53
sisalppokoli: I wait for the log in debug mode, and may be a configuration file should be removed to be renewed.11:54
pokolisisalp: have you tried removing fingerprings from know hosts? http://doc.tryton.org/4.4/tryton/doc/usage.html#configuration-file11:56
pokolisisalp: then tryton will recreate11:56

semariesisalp: currently your server accepts a wide range of SSL/TLS protocol versions (from TLS1.2 to SSLv3 [bad])12:14
semariecheck on the client if the time on the host is right: certificate validation requires accurate time12:15
