mrichezhi, is there a way (other than cls._order.insert in the setup of the model) to define a default sort on a tree view ?13:19
nicoeWhy can't you use cls._order?13:24
mricheznicoe: concrete example: purchase_lines are sequence_ordered. I've created a related on product to have a purchase_history using purchase_line tree view. For purchase_history, i define an order with cls._order by purchase_date asc and id desc... But  with this order, sequence is no more working :-)13:28
mricheznicoe: by removing order by id, sequence is now working ... so i was wondering if there was another way to sort ... because once you've defined an order on the model, it become default_order on all the views linked to this model and on specific view you don't need this order13:31
nicoeMaybe the one2many in purchase should specify the order of the lines using the sequence and the default order for purchase should be a better than the current one13:35
mricheznicoe: but not sure my order for purchase_history (purchase_date desc, id asc) should be the same than the default one for the purchase_lines13:37

mricheznicoe: as i said previously, i solved my problem by removing id ordering... but i asked to open discussion that only ordering on the model can be restrictive? could we imagine an attribute "default_order" on <tree> in xml view ?14:00
nicoemrichez: You can specify the order of an act_window14:04
mricheznicoe: ok thanks :-)14:08
