sisalphello, I get this massage in a server 4.2 log :  INFO trytond.cron skip "amismkr_prod" as previous cron still running16:28
sisalpwhich I understand as "the cron task took several minutes to complete (I get 7 such messages in araw)16:29
sisalpdoes it signal my server has some problem ?16:30
sisalpthere is no other activity logged at the same time, but the user complains about "interuptions of service". can it be related ?16:31
cedksisalp: it means a cron task takes too much time to perform16:38
sisalpcedk:Analysing the log further, it happens everyday at 11:4416:40
cedksisalp: so it looks like a daily task that drifted to 11:44 and take more than 1 minutes to perform16:42
sisalpcedk: I think I get a 100% cpu load on one core during this period, like a looping process.16:46
sisalpcedk: on version 4.2, is it possible that a background process which loops or run heavy load to block the network RPC response ?17:13
cedksisalp: yes it could17:16
sisalpcedk: and is it the same with 5.0 ?17:16
cedksisalp: it could, it depend on the task17:19
sisalpcedk: ok, thank you. I will ask the user to check so it can be fixed. It is better to upgrade to 5.0 on a fixed server, I guess.17:29
